Registration Scholarship Application
 

Note: The deadline for application has passed. Applications are no longer being accepted.

The MAAE will receive scholarship applications for individuals who agree to the terms stated below. Scholarship applications are due by April 22, 2005. Recipients of scholarships will be notified no later than April 27, 2005, and will be registered for the conference. Applicants who do not receive a scholarship may register through the Mississippi Department of Education/MEGA Conference website at http://www.mcraeco.com/MS_mega_reg.html

The Mississippi Alliance for Arts Education (MAAE), working in partnership with the Mississippi Department of Education (MDE), will host an Arts Education Professional Development Track as part of the 2005 MEGA Conference. Through a grant from the Kennedy Center Alliance for Arts Education Network, MAAE will provide 100 scholarships to pay conference registration ($50) for individuals who register to participate in the Arts Education Track. Scholarships will be awarded in the order applications are received. Please submit promptly.

Please note: Individuals who accept a registration scholarship will agree to attend six Arts Education Professional Development Track sessions at the conference, or four conference sessions and one off-site workshop. Scholarship recipients will also be expected to participate in a conference follow-up questionnaire during the first nine weeks of the 2005-2006 school year.
